TRANSFORMING DEVIANCE AND CRIMINALITY IN THE DIGITAL ERA

The event will take place in a hybrid format, allowing speakers to either present their work in person at the venue or participate virtually to share their contributions.

There are three options for presentation:

The general purpose of the conference is to encourage the activity of scientific and practical research and analysis, in order to identify the most effective ways to prevent and combat the multiple forms of deviance, delinquency and crime, providing in this sense an academic framework suitable for proactive scientific exploration and the exchange of ideas in the area of topics of interest.

Following the six editions in which it took place, the DECRET Conference has gained the reputation of being an excellent interdisciplinary dialogue platform that brings together and encourages dialogue between researchers, practitioners, teaching staff, students and any other interested parties, from the country and abroad, to exchange experience and share the results of their work on the latest innovations, trends and concerns related to the challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in all fields that have connections to the prevention and combating of crime, such as: criminal sciences, criminology, forensics, penology, behavioral sciences, sociology and psychology, public order and safety, etc.

Our partner universities in organizing the DECRET Conference are from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Moldova.
